The Auction Manager is an application that is specifically designed for use with Auction businesses. The application has many integrated functions that will significantly increase the efficiency of the Auction business. Knowing that each Auction is set up differently, Bowder made sure our product reached the needs of each Auction business.

Bowder worked directly with the owners and operators of an Auction house while developing the Auction Manager software application. By doing this, we were able to ensure we understood the exact needs of such a business, and therefore, design a system that meets its specific needs. The Auction Manager has many tools that can be used before, during and after an auction. Consignors and buyers are both added to the system. Once this is done, users can enter the items, either on the fly (during the auction) or before the auction by using the Catalog tool. Catalogs that are created before the auction can be printed and mailed to clients on the mailing list. Once items have been sold and buyers are ready to complete their purchase, the Buyer Receipts section of the application is used to print out receipts for the buyers. After an auction has been completed, users can print a summary of the auction.

Bowder has received feedback from many auctioneers asking for a Buyer's Premium and also a Paper Trail as the users enter items. Bowder is currently looking into developing these features.
