Township Manager Screenshots

The following is a brief synopsis of each of the main tools offered by in the Township Manager.  Follow the link to any tool that you wish to see a more detailed description.  The detailed descriptions give more  information along with sample screen shots from the application.

The Accounting Ledger is used to keep detailed records of accounting done by your office.  Ledger are setup for each account used by your office.  Once the Ledgers have been created users can enter debits and credits for Ledger.  At any time users can generate printouts of each Ledger for the office files and archives.  Also, items that need board approval are added to the Claim Sheet, which can be printed and presented to the board members.

The Invoice Tracker is used to create invoices for services performed by the your office.  Once the invoice is created the user can print it and mail it to the recipient.  At any time the user can use the Invoice Tracker to find invoices that are outstanding.  Each outstanding invoice can be printed and re-mailed to the recipient.

The Address Book is an easy way for the Township offices to keep a record of contacts.  The Address Book is easy to update and maintain.  It includes many fields that enable detailed records of each contact.  Also, the Invoice Tracker is linked to the Address Book, which allows simple invoice creation for contacts in the system.

The Inventory Tracker is used to keep detailed records of any equipment owned by the office.   Inventory types can be easily created to allow the equipment to be sorted into separate groups.   Adding, deleting and updating allows the user to keep accurate accounts of all equipment, new and used, currently in their possession.  The print feature associated with the Inventory Tracker allows the road commissioner to update the township board of trustees on a regular basis with detailed and sorted listings.

The Pay Sheet is a simple way to track the hours worked by each employee.  At the end of a pay period the user simply prints out a Time Card for each employee.  The Time Card includes the date, type of hour worked and  number of hours worked for each day in the pay period.

The Calendar control can be used to keep track of daily events.  Events are entered based on date and time.  Also, if a user desires, a reminder can be set for each event.  The reminder can be set for any date and time.  The events entered are specific to the user, however; you can setup the events to be viewed by all users.  The reminders work in a similar fashion, the reminder can be for the user who entered the event, or for any user in the system.

The information that Bowder found while researching the Township Manager showed that Township officials can be overwhelmed by the amount of bookkeeping involved with holding the office.  Our main goal while designing the application was to give the user a product that would be easy to use and increase their efficiency.  Keeping sight of this allowed us to create an application that offers extended functionality while using a simple interface design.

We also understand that we cannot encompass everyone's needs with our application.  However, since that is our goal, if you have any suggestions on tools you could use that are not already provided please contact us.  We will be more than happy to look into your suggestion, and if feasible, add your idea  to the numerous tools already available.

We hope that the information we have offered answers any question you may have.  If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact us.  We will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
